Lisa can hand letter anything from chalkboards to murals to signs. She studied letterform design at Rhode Island School of Design. After RISD she became a type designer for Bitstream, the first and oldest digital type foundry. She now sells hand lettered work in her Etsy shop, at art festivals and galleries.

Lisa is comfortable working in many mediums. Oils on canvas and soft pastel are her favorite.
Lisa paused her career as a package designer to start a family and turn her skills to hospitality. She co-owned two popular and beloved Boston area restaurants, the former Chez Henri in Cambridge MA and the former Providence Restaurant in Brookline MA. Lisa designed everything from the logos, interiors, signage, plates, matches, advertising, press kits and menus. Both restaurants received local and national press and earned numerous Best of Boston awards.

Lisa spent the early years of her career as a designer and art director at several Boston design firms creating consumer packaging for some of America's best known brands.
Lisa sells an ever expanding collection of Retro Signs on Etsy and at The Hourglass Gift Gallery in Melrose MA. The original designs are hand printed onto wood panel and finished with a copper hook. Lisa is skilled with Photoshop. She creates her own filters to achieve stunning effects.
Lisa is both an experienced photographer and a master at using Adobe® Photoshop® to enhance, retouch, resize, mask and color correct images. She applies her skills across all categories including product photography, location shots, food images, portraits, real estate photography, music, fine art photography and beyond.
Lisa is an amateur musician and passionate about live music. Her love of music inspires her photographs of musicians and musical instruments as well as music graphics.
Lisa has exhibited at Art Festivals and Open Studios including Arlington Open Studios, Melrose Arts Festival, The Haverhill Artists Market, Flora Restaurant, Chez Henri and The Old Schwamb Mill, all located or formerly located in Massachusetts. Her work is currently available at The Hourglass Gallery and Gift Shop in Melrose MA and on Etsy (www.etsy.com/shop/snapkickstudio).
While raising a family Lisa donated her services to many bro bono projects.
Lisa co-owned two beloved and award winning former Boston area restaurants. Chez Henri just outside Harvard Square in Cambridge and Providence Restaurant in Brookline. Closed for 5 years now Chez Henri still gets press. Both restaurants received local and national press and recognition. Chez Henri, a modern French bistro with a Cuban twist was known for introducing New England to the Mojito and was famous for the Cuban Sandwiches. Providence was an eclectic blend of American and European cuisine famous for the Veal Pastrami.
